Edwin Castro, known to the YouTube and Twitch community as Castro1021, recently completed a 50-hour charity livestream in which all donations went to Macmillan Cancer Support and Jude Children’s Hospital in the name of cancer research.

Castro streams FIFA, and is one of the most renowned streamers in the community. This was not the first time he hosted a charity livestream, and I’m confident it will not be the last. This was, however, the longest, and Castro helped to raise over $80,000 while donating $40,000 of his own money.

EA Sports took notice of Castro’s stream, helping promote it and creating a special Hero card for the streamer, which they gifted to him upon completion of the stream. It is the only card of its kind.

Castro is a true hero, and I have this to say to him: From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
